IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

Perform client implementations and updates
Perform application configuration updates
Issue support and perform root cause analysis and assist in troubleshooting issues
New release QA
Collaborate with 3rd party software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Manage and execute code installations across Development, QA, Certification, and Production environments
Ensure proper version control and rollback procedures are in place
Monitor deployment processes and validate successful installations

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Proficiency in QA tools and frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Harness)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
5+ years of experience supporting Windows based environments
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Server 2012 & higher and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
3+ years of experience in software QA and code deployment

Preferred

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Knowledge and experience in the financial industry
Database experience (MSSQL, Oracle, etc.)
Automation software (Automate, Control M, Autosys, etc.)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
