Responsibilities

Regulatory compliance

Manage and assist with data calls, regulatory filings, state and federal filings

Review or prepare monthly account reconciliations for assigned clients and accounts

Financial reporting for assigned companies

Reconcile and monitor receivables in accordance with Statutory and GAAP requirements

Maintain adequate documentation as prescribed by company guidelines

Maintain Fixed Asset ledgers

Complete quarterly and annual NAIC filings

Review account classification of expenditures, analyze general ledger

Oversee and assist the completion of annual audit

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Monitor and analyze the income statement for accuracy, reasonableness and comparison to budget, identifying and investigating any discrepancies

Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in a timely manner

Provide support to the Controller

Assist with internal and external ad-hoc accounting duties and projects as requested by clients

Complete monthly and quarterly management reports as assigned

Responsible for Enterprise Risk Management functions as assigned

Communicate frequently and effectively with internal and external contacts

Other duties as assigned
