Federal Services Lead

Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale. The Federal Services Lead is responsible for conducting and directing activities to capture and fulfill work conducted in collaboration with federal government sponsor needs, while leading cross-functional teams and nurturing relationships with federal sponsors.

Responsibilities

Leading cross-functional capture teams, including technical experts, government affairs operators, and technical writers, acting as a coordinator or shepherd to bring proposal development to realization
Acting as a liaison with government agencies, shaping requirements and understanding customer needs
Acting as a Oklo advocate with federal sponsors throughout program lifecycle
Conducting competitive analysis, research competitors, and gather intelligence on funded programs
Nurturing relationships with federal government sponsors, industry collaborators, and other stakeholders, in collaboration with other Oklo colleagues
Representing Oklo at meetings, industry events, and other touch points

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Prior experience working in the NNSA or DOE vertical
Mission-driven, with grit to overcome obstacles to drive projects to success
A skilled negotiator, who crafts their message with their audience in mind, and effectively presents value proposition
A consummate professional, that conducts business with elegance, while maintaining unquestionable ethics
Passionate about energy
An optimist at heart
Willing and eager to learn quickly
Willing to think differently and do things in new ways
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic startup work environment
Willing and excited to propose novel and creative solutions to technical problems
A strong communicator, both in technical writing and in collaborative discussions
