Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain business rules and decision services using IBM ODM
Lead the implementation of complex decision logic and rule orchestration
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into executable rules
Ensure rule performance, scalability, and reusability across applications
Integrate ODM decision services with enterprise applications using Java and REST APIs
Perform unit testing, rule validation, and debugging to ensure accuracy and compliance
Participate in architecture discussions and provide guidance on best practices
Support deployment activities and troubleshoot production issues
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
Ensure documentation and version control of rules and decision artifacts
Qualification
Required
IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM): Mastery
Business Rules Engines / BRMS: Mastery
Full-Stack Java Development: Advanced
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, RESTful services
Experience integrating ODM with enterprise systems
Strong understanding of rule governance, decision tables, and ruleflows
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
