Responsibilities
Build and maintain automation for Android (Appium, Espresso, UIAutomator)
Support iOS automation (XCUITest/Appium) as applicable
Develop scalable regression, smoke, and sanity automation suites
Ensure automation coverage for offline, sync, and data persistence scenarios
Test applications on custom Android hardware and E‑Ink devices
Validate power consumption, performance, sleep/wake cycles, and device states
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to troubleshoot integration issues
Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools
Validate end-to-end workflows across device, app, backend, and cloud services
Test entitlement, sync, content delivery, and failure recovery scenarios
Execute performance, stability, endurance, and long-run testing
Identify memory, CPU, and battery usage issues
Provide actionable recommendations to engineering teams
Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA
Provide detailed defect analysis, logs, and reproduction steps
Produce QA status reports, metrics, and release sign-off documentation
Qualification
Required
