Responsibilities
Responsible for Back-to-back trading of Bunkers and Marine Fuel, (Fuel Oil, Gas Oil, Alternative fuels) to Ship owners / Operators / Traders within the Global market
Handle bunker enquiries within the American and International markets offering transparent pricing and services to customers
Establish relationships and leverage upon existing relations with end-users and suppliers to facilitate back-to-back bunker trading across Tanker, Dry, Bulk & Commercial sectors whilst promoting the companies’ physical locations
Work closely with the Head of Trading to implement new strategies and develop new markets within North America
Stay on top of market news and insight, understanding market analysis within global ports and pricing
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience in a back-to-back bunker/marine fuel sales-trading position across North America region with your own customer portfolio
A solid understanding of bunkering policies within various ports across North America region with proven track record of executing business efficiently and transparently
An understanding of Hedging and pricing tools to facilitate confident and effective trading of bunkers/marine fuel
Fluency in English
A network of shipowner/bunker and marine fuel contacts/portfolio of business to facilitate back-to-back bunker trading within North America
Reporting directly into Head of Trading
Located in Houston
Preferred
Fluency in additional languages would be beneficial
Relocation opportunities are available for experienced traders seeking a move to the USA
Ability to work remotely in other US States
