Responsibilities

Lead the development of compliance-related programs and processes
Monitor legal/regulatory changes applicable to the business and operations units, including consumer finance, consumer privacy, information security, and protection product laws and regulations, and provide advisory support to operations/business units with implementation of new/changing requirements
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the operations/business units to develop and update policies and operating procedures. Maintain policies and procedures library
Support second-line monitoring and testing program; including identification of process/control gaps and oversight of remediation measures through completion
Assist with department projects, due diligence efforts, and corrective action plans
Maintain files and records. Assist in preparing and conducting regulatory examinations and audits; coordinate responses to findings and collaborate with the Compliance Manager and relevant business units to implement necessary remediation and corrective actions. Provide necessary reporting to senior management and appropriate committees
Provide second-line oversight of the customer complaint management process to ensure customer complaints are addressed in a fair and timely manner
Support administration of the compliance training program and any ad hoc training efforts

Required

AA or Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Economics, Finance or Communications
6+ years of compliance related experience at a supervised financial institution
Equivalent work experience in a related field will also be considered
Proficiency in MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Knowledge of federal and consumer financial regulations governing the consumer finance industry
Familiarity with TILA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA a plus
Ability to draft professional correspondence and prepare executive-level presentations
Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver quality results in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work well with others
