Senior Staff Action Officer -Battlespace Awareness and Security Programs
ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. The Senior Action Officer will provide expert-level battlespace awareness support and strategic counsel to senior leadership within USW(I&S), managing and optimizing the BA Portfolio through analysis, policy development, and coordination across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities
Provide battlespace awareness expertise and direct counsel to senior-level leadership in support of BA Portfolio management
Review and evaluate existing and planned ISR and environmental systems, processes, and programs across the DoD and IC to ensure alignment with warfighter, acquisition, and senior policymaker needs
Develop guidance and deliverables supporting BA portfolio management, including initial binning, business rules, and entry/exit criteria
Design and implement data collection and management strategies for BA-related programs and capabilities
Analyze large data sets and develop data analytics and visualization tools to identify trends, anomalies, and insights
Develop, maintain, and update general and specialized data-analytic dashboards to support capabilities-based decision-making
Provide data-informed assessments, reporting, and oversight to inform senior leader decisions
Conduct research and analysis and draft formal staff positions and recommendations
Prepare briefs, talking papers, memoranda, letters, and OSW staff packages in compliance with established policies
Support coordination across BA capability portfolio management, other DoD mission areas, multiple DoD components, and the broader IC
Manage electronic files across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS in accordance with NARA records management requirements
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the DoD or Intelligence Community working with battlespace awareness programs
Minimum of 10 years of experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and defense acquisition management systems
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the DoD PPBE process, policy development, program oversight/guidance, and capabilities development and resourcing on a military or interagency staff
Demonstrated expertise in ISR, environmental awareness systems, and battlespace awareness portfolio management
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Experience developing data analytics, dashboards, and visualization tools for senior decision-makers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leaders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration skills and experience working across DoD and Intelligence Community stakeholders
