Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate transportation of completed boats to dealers, ensuring alignment with production completion dates and dealer availability
Communicate with carriers, dealers, and internal teams to confirm shipment details, routing requirements, and delivery timelines
Prepare all shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and compliance forms
Track and monitor outbound shipments, resolving routing issues, delays, or delivery concerns proactively
Maintain accurate shipment data in the scheduling system including freight cost, carrier assignments, loading schedules, and delivery confirmations
Develop and optimize trailer and load plans to reduce freight cost, improve turns, and ensure safety and compliance
Communicate weekly shipment schedules to internal teams including sales and production to maintain organizational alignment
Support evaluation of carrier performance and cost control initiatives
Assist in planning and executing routine cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Investigate and reconcile cycle count variances, working with warehouse and production to identify root causes and corrective actions
Maintain reporting on inventory accuracy trends, shrink results, and improvements
Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory, maintaining records and reports for management review
Coordinate disposition of obsolete materials including scrapping, rework evaluation, vendor returns, or internal redeployment
Support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, warehouse cleanliness, labeling accuracy, and stock visibility

Required

Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Experience in logistics, shipping coordination, dispatching, warehouse, or inventory management
Manufacturing or marine industry experience is beneficial but not required
Experience with MRP, or inventory systems
