Required

JD from an accredited U.S. law school
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
3+ years of relevant experience in employment law, workplace investigations, and compliance
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, complex, and time-sensitive investigations
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to provide clear, business-focused advice to leadership and HR teams
Conducting witness interviews, gathering and reviewing documentation, and preparing detailed investigation summaries
Assessing findings to determine whether conduct violated company policies or applicable laws
Recommending appropriate actions and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure consistency and fairness
Providing legal guidance to HR, management, and compliance teams on employment-related issues
Supporting broader employment law initiatives, policy updates, and training

Preferred

Prior experience in a law firm or corporate in-house setting (especially large or well-known companies)
Experience with cross-border investigations or global employment matters
Background in employee relations, compliance, or ethics counselling
Familiarity with investigation tools or HR platforms (e.g., Workday, EthicsPoint)
Demonstrated ability to build processes and improve investigation frameworks
