Responsibilities

Lead Governance Strategy: Drive PSaS’ data governance framework and operating model, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies, standards, and metrics

Establish policies for AI agent usage, context handling, error escalation, human approvals

Enable Stewardship & Ownership: Promote accountability and best practices for data stewardship across the organization

Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day governance execution with McKesson and vendor partners

Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Product, Business, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Security teams to enforce data access controls and privacy standards while identifying new data opportunities

Ensure Data Quality: Provide guidance to maintain accuracy, consistency, and usability of data assets

Executive Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership, data engineering, and data science teams to integrate governance initiatives into enterprise strategies

Manage Data Assets: Maintain and enhance the inventory and catalog of key data assets, addressing gaps and future needs

Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor governance health, report progress, and implement innovative solutions to improve effectiveness

Stay Ahead of Trends: Remain current on industry best practices, tools, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
