They are seeking a Cloud Engineer to build the AWS foundation for migrated workloads, ensuring that applications have the correct infrastructure and configurations.

Responsibilities

Provision and maintain AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

Apply network and security configurations in line with platform standards and guardrails

Configure application-level monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch and the platform’s observability stack

Participate in cutover events and post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting infrastructure issues

Contribute to automation runbooks and cost optimization activities

Required

3+ years in AWS cloud engineering

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Solid networking knowledge (VPC design, subnets, security groups, routing)

Understanding of Windows and Linux workloads being migrated from VMware

AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate certification
