Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to print specifications
Determine machining sequence, select tooling, prepare program layout, and execute programs for consistent quality and efficiency
Work from blueprints, shop orders, and verbal instructions to machine components to exacting tolerances
Set up jobs with existing tooling/fixtures, and when needed, design or fabricate specialized fixtures or holding devices
Select proper tooling, load/verify programs, adjust offsets, and perform in-process corrections to maintain accuracy
Inspect all machined components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company quality and safety procedures
Support daily production and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling, offsets, and machining processes
Proficiency with inspection equipment and verifying tight-tolerance dimensions
High attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and pride in workmanship
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire for long-term career growth
Preferred
Milling experience is a plus
