Continue developing our hardware system and begin to improve it for manufacturing scale-up later in fall 2026
Identify areas to improve the hardware and lead the design and iteration of those improvements to reach manufacturing scale
Qualification
Required
Either a BS/MS in mechanical/chemical engineering (or related field), a track record of transitioning prototypes to manufacturing and scaling up production
A comfort with hydraulics/fluid mechanics, ideally having designed and built systems that deal with fluid flow
Experience in DFA/DFM or related techniques
Preferred
Experience working in agriculture, including building equipment, operating equipment, or working in agricultural operations generally
You've designed and built 2+ hardware prototypes or done other design/build projects outside of work
Experience machining parts, welding, 3D printing and other component fabrication skills
Proficient in French and/or Spanish
