Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer with AutoPipe experience for a 12-month contract. This position supports the Natrium project, which is part of a DOE initiative to advance U.S. leadership in nuclear energy production, focusing on performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 or B31.3 Code.

Responsibilities

Includes the modeling of the piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify piping flexibility, stability and qualification of equipment nozzle loads

Stress review of isometrics based on span tables

Checking of work done by others

Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required

May include certain lead responsibilities

Qualification

Required

AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7-8 years of experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Knowledgeable of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 other relevant industry piping codes and standards

Prior experience using a computer pipe stress analysis program AutoPipe
