Government Sales Account Manager
ProLogic ITS is focused on providing technology solutions to government agencies, and they are seeking a Sales Account Manager for Government Solutions to drive revenue growth within the public sector. The role involves managing relationships with government clients, identifying opportunities, and overseeing the sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.

Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of government agency clients, including schools, municipalities, law enforcement, and city and county departments
Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions across ProLogic ITS's portfolio (e.g., rugged laptops/tablets, fleet telematics, depot support, installation services)
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including quoting, proposal generation, RFP/RFQ response coordination, and contract negotiations
Partner with internal teams (Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Marketing) to ensure a seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline updates in Salesforce
Leverage ProLogic's Prime Partner relationships and solution bundles to differentiate offerings and drive value
Support marketing campaigns, trade shows, and targeted outreach efforts within the public sector
Stay up-to-date on government funding cycles, budget planning windows, and technology trends relevant to the market
Develop trusted advisor status with procurement officers, CIOs, IT managers, and operational leaders within government agencies
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of successful Government sales experience in technology, hardware, or managed services
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment
Deep understanding of government procurement, bid/RFP processes, and contracting mechanisms
Experience navigating contract vehicles such as TIPS, GSA, NASPO, and Sourcewell
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities
Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal tools
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
