Postdoctoral Appointee - Operando Electron Microscopy, Onsite

Responsibilities
Conduct experiments using state-of-the-art characterization instrumentation
Analyze data using established and custom modeling tools
Introduce new capabilities by integrating custom hardware
Present research progress at group meetings, peer review events, and technical conferences
Write and publish manuscripts in scientific journals
Qualification
Required
PhD degree in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a closely related field
Hands-on experience with electron sources and their application to semiconductor characterization
A record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences, consisting of a minimum of three (3) first-author or co-authored scientific publications
Highest degree received not more than five years prior to the date of application and all degree requirements completed before starting the appointment
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance
Preferred
Experience with operando electronic device characterization
Experience with data acquisition hardware and software
Experience with finite element modeling
