This role will serve as a thought leader and strategic partner to product, platform, and engineering leadership, driving unified measurement frameworks and ensuring analytics excellence across global teams.

Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment: Partner with product, platform, and engineering leaders to align analytics and observability priorities with platform goals, enabling data-driven decisions on investments and improvements
Unified KPI Framework: Define, instrument, and govern key platform KPIs that measure reliability, scalability, and business impact
Performance Observability: Build SLA-bound dashboards, lead KPI reviews, and implement proactive alerting to ensure platform resilience and transparency
Cross-Analytics Collaboration: Champion platform performance insights across analytics teams (e.g., Segment, Product Analytics), ensuring consistent visibility and alignment on key metrics and outcomes
GenAI Measurement: Collaborate with analytics partners to define and track success metrics for Generative AI and agentic workflows, focusing on quality, trust, and customer value
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend data-backed experiments to enhance platform performance
Data Stewardship: Uphold best practices in data quality, governance, and sustainable observability infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
7+ years of combined academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to real-world, large-scale data problems
Proven expertise in statistical analysis, experimentation design, and causal inference techniques
Strong programming skills in Python or R, with proficiency in SQL (Hive/Presto/BigQuery experience preferred)
Demonstrated success building unified KPI frameworks, measurement pipelines, or analytics governance structures at scale
Experience providing technical oversight to global analytics or data science teams
Hands-on experience designing evaluation and measurement frameworks for Generative AI and agentic workflows, including conversational AI, AI assistants, and autonomous task orchestration
Strong business acumen and ability to translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical frameworks, success metrics, and actionable insights
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Preferred
Proficiency in SQL (Hive/Presto/BigQuery experience preferred)
