Responsibilities
Develop and maintain core Java applications for payment processing platforms
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven architectures
Integrate and optimize MongoDB databases for high availability, performance, and data consistency
Collaborate with product and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance related to financial transactions
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to payment systems and associated technologies
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to payments and data management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
8+ years of proven experience in Core Java development
Experience with Springboot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
Strong background in payments/banking domain, with understanding of payment protocols, standards, and regulations
Working knowledge of payment security standards such as PCI DSS
Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and stream processing
Solid experience working with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization
Knowledge of security practices related to financial data and transactions
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with other databases like SQL or NoSQL
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
