Responsibilities
Lead preparation of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other SEC filings, ensuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
Serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors on SEC and technical accounting matters
Drive enhancements to reporting processes — including automation and new system implementations
Support SOX compliance and maintain accounting policies
Evaluate emerging standards and regulatory changes, advising senior leadership on impact
Research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues and material transactions
Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects
Contribute to a culture of excellence within a high-performing finance team
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years progressive accounting experience
Strong SEC reporting background, including hands-on 10-Q/10-K preparation
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP & SEC requirements
Proactive problem solver comfortable making decisions with ambiguity
Could be a strong Senior ready to be Manager
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Experience with reporting tools/systems (Workiva, Oracle, SAP or similar) is a plus
