Responsibilities
Develop and implement security strategies for cloud environments to safeguard digital assets
Design and architect secure solutions that align with industry best practices and organizational goals
Automate security processes and workflows using scripting and configuration management tools
Collaborate with teams across engineering, development, compliance, and IT to embed security into cloud initiatives
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in all cloud deployments
Utilize expertise in Azure and other cloud-native services to optimize security architecture
Monitor and respond to security incidents within cloud environments, ensuring timely resolution
Provide guidance and support on identity and access management strategies
Stay updated on emerging cloud security trends and technologies to continuously improve systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and cloud security
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security principles, including network security, encryption, and data protection
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Terraform for security automation
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms, including architecture and best practices
Familiarity with firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA
Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and database security
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
Proven track record of ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
