Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for multiple entities in accordance with internal controls
Maintain accurate payroll records and post payroll journal entries
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with provider contracts
Manage payroll calendars and coordinate with payroll processing vendors
Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and tax laws
Serve as first-level support for employee payroll inquiries
Collect, reconcile, and process independent contractor invoices
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with customers as needed
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts
Apply customer payments to appropriate invoices
Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and reconciliations
Support ad hoc reporting as assigned by Accounting leadership
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll processes
Experience working with multiple entities
Ability to interpret and apply complex contract details
High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and able to maintain confidentiality
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Preferred
Proficiency in Excel
QuickBooks experience
3–5 years of accounting or payroll-related experience
Cash-basis accounting experience
QuickBooks Pro experience
