Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual)
Connor & Gallagher OneSource (CGO) is a full-service Human Capital and Risk Management partner. The HR Generalist is a client-facing role that supports day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and onboarding while delivering exceptional service and guidance to clients.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned client companies
Build trusted relationships with clients by providing timely, accurate, and compliant HR guidance
Advise clients on employment practices, policies, and HR best practices
Respond to requests for employee information from client leadership, service providers, agencies, and third parties
Conduct new-hire onboarding meetings via video conferencing and screen sharing
Process benefit enrollments, life events, and terminations; administer COBRA
Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and Short-Term Disability
Maintain accurate employee records related to benefits, payroll, and employment status
Create, update, and interpret employment policies and documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal procedures
Maintain employee files, payroll records, benefits data, and other HR documentation
Prepare memos, forms, and HR documents to support both internal and client needs
Provide administrative support including document management, spreadsheet updates, data verification, filing, and record maintenance
Support internal HR initiatives and assist with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Human Resources experience in a fast-paced, employee-relations-focused environment
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Strong working knowledge of HR operations, benefits administration, and compliance
Ability to work onsite a minimum of two days per week in Lisle, IL
HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) required; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within one year of employment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and data management skills, particularly in Excel
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Professional, client-service mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn
