Responsibilities
Perform detailed quality inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications
Review and maintain batch records, quality documentation, and filing systems to ensure accuracy and traceability
Identify, document, and report any quality issues or non-conformances, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions
Assist in the development and updating of quality control procedures and protocols to enhance inspection processes
Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to support audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of product specifications, quality assurance principles, and quality inspection techniques
Familiarity with document control and batch record management
Ability to multitask effectively and maintain meticulous attention to detail
Preferred
Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector)
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001
Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools
Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing industry such as pharmaceuticals or food production
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments
