This role requires the candidate to deliver accurate cost estimates and manage multiple projects for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates during all stages of preconstruction for large-scale infrastructure projects
Develop and maintain cost plans, estimates, reports, and cash flows aligned with project scope and schedule
Produce high-quality quantity takeoffs with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
Manage RFP processes, analyze contractor and consultant bids, and provide commercial recommendations to clients
Support value engineering, cost-risk analysis, and mitigation strategies
Price design changes, variations, and scope adjustments throughout design and delivery
Maintain strong awareness of market rates, construction trends, and infrastructure cost drivers
Perform benchmarking and support the development and maintenance of cost databases
Deliver clear, concise cost reports and presentations to clients and key stakeholders
Manage multiple projects concurrently while supporting timely and accurate project delivery
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in estimating, cost management, or quantity surveying, ideally within infrastructure, heavy civil, or structural construction
Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects ($50M+), with exposure to major infrastructure programs preferred
Strong understanding of civil and structural construction methods, sequencing, and cost structures
Experience working with owners, consultants, and contractors, including large general contractors
Ability to assess risk, change, and cost impacts across complex projects
High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings
Proficiency with industry-standard and specialist estimating and takeoff software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, Sage, Trimble Business Center, CostX, InEight, Tekla, Navisworks) and advanced Excel
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects ($50M+), with exposure to major infrastructure programs preferred
