Enterprise Architect – Data Center, Infrastructure & Network
Infojini Inc is seeking an Enterprise Architect to assist the State of CT in modernizing and relocating core IT infrastructure components. The role involves providing architectural oversight for data center build coordination, migration leadership, and project management to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Responsibilities
Provide architectural oversight to ensure new facility readiness, including power distribution, UPS/generator systems, HVAC, structured cabling, rack design, and aisle containment
Review and validate vendor and facilities designs for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery integration
Coordinate with multiple organizations and vendors across facilities management, construction, and IT engineering teams
Ensure physical and logical safeguards align with CJIS and NIST requirements
Collaborate with facilities teams and third-party vendors to ensure infrastructure components (power, cooling, cabling, racks, and physical security) meet enterprise standards
Advise on data center security best practices, including: Physical controls (secured doors and walls, limited or no windows, CCTV, intrusion detection, environmental monitoring), Strict access controls (role-based access, least privilege, badge/biometric entry, visitor logging), Compliance with CJIS, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, and IRS Publication 1075 (as applicable)
Act as the lead technical authority for migration of VMware clusters, Dell EMC storage platforms, Cisco core networking, and Palo Alto firewalls and security systems
Develop and maintain detailed migration and cutover runbooks, including rollback procedures
Oversee data replication, SRM/DR testing, and workload migrations to minimize downtime
Validate end-to-end system performance (applications, storage, and network) post-migration
Lead after-hours and weekend cutover activities to ensure business continuity
Plan, organize, and track project activities, milestones, and dependencies
Partner with Judicial Branch leadership to define resource plans and project timelines
Develop comprehensive documentation, including as-built diagrams, baselines, runbooks, and lessons learned
Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, vendors, and facilities teams throughout both project phases
Conduct structured risk assessments for each phase and implement mitigation strategies
Validate network segmentation, firewall and security policies, and Zero Trust architecture
Ensure logging, monitoring, and auditing controls are enabled to maintain CJIS and NIST compliance
