Senior Pipe Stress Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform detailed pipe stress analysis in accordance with ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 codes
Model piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to assess flexibility, stability, and equipment nozzle loads
Review piping isometrics based on span tables and design requirements
Check and verify stress analysis work completed by other engineers
Collaborate closely with layout designers and pipe support engineers to ensure high-quality designs
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed
Provide technical guidance and take on limited lead responsibilities when required

Qualification

ASME B31.3ASME B31.1Bentley AutoPipePipe stress analysisTechnical guidance

Required

Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1, as well as other relevant piping codes and standards
Hands-on experience with pipe stress analysis software (AutoPipe required)
Proven experience performing and reviewing pipe stress calculations
AA/AS degree or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of directly related pipe stress engineering experience
This role follows a part-time telework arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite at the assigned office or project location
