Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) team to generate technical documentation for Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructures to support Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) workloads
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of cloud and hybrid environments, improving efficiency and reducing manual overhead
Contribute to the definition and refinement of best practices and policies for hybrid cloud operations
Enhance and maintain the COSMOS pilot program, providing customers with a robust prototyping environment
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
IAT Level III Certification (such as CASP+, CCNP, CISA, or CISSP)
Compliant with Cyber Security Workforce Baseline Qualifications for your specialty area and proficiency level as outlined in Section 6.23.2 of Cyber Security Workforce Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years' experience in Systems Administration, with at least 3 years specializing in deploying and managing enterprise solutions on Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
Hands-on experience with tools such as Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native application orchestration and deployment
Proficiency in automation scripting using Python, Terraform, or similar technologies
Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP)
Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at start
Preferred
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions to ensure optimal cloud performance and reliability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving infrastructure challenges
Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly preferred
