Responsibilities

Perform essential system administration functions for both Linux and Windows servers

Configure, maintain, and automate processes for Linux and Windows servers, including device hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation

Climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices

Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades in a timely manner; troubleshoot server issues

Administer customer accounts and assist with escalated customer tickets

Deploy monitoring tools and applications

Monitor Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and security

Required

Active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Experience in Windows and Linux server system administration

VMware architecture administration experience

Knowledge of physical and virtual servers

Application administration and troubleshooting skills

Security+ certification

Education and Experience: 10 years with High School Diploma/GED

Education and Experience: 8 years with Associate's Degree

Education and Experience: 6 years with Bachelor's Degree

Education and Experience: 4 years with Master's Degree

Education and Experience: 2 years with Doctorate's Degree

Preferred

Hardware installation and cabling experience

Experience with monitoring tools

Network experience including architecture, switch administration, and troubleshooting

Experience with AWS/VMs
