Responsibilities

Own and execute SEO strategy across all assigned client accounts
Conduct advanced SEO audits and oversee implementation of on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations
Collaborate with content, web, and account teams to align SEO with broader marketing goals
Define keyword strategies, content roadmaps, and authority-building initiatives
Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and technical health - translating data into clear insights
Develop and manage backlink strategies to increase domain authority
Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical SEO issues at scale
Review and implement client feedback while maintaining strategic integrity
Oversee monthly reporting, performance summaries, updates, and changelogs for clients
Stay ahead of algorithm updates and evolving SEO best practices
Act as the SEO subject-matter expert during team discussions and internal strategy sessions
Youโ€™ll be the SEO authority in team conversations and a key voice in weekly departmental meetings

Required

3+ years of proven SEO experience, with at least 1+ years in a leadership, senior, or ownership role (agency experience strongly preferred)
Highly analytical, systems-driven, detail-obsessed, and confident communicating strategy to internal teams and clients alike
Ability to use tools like MOZ, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA4 and translate insights into action
Masterfully balances technical SEO, content strategy, and UX, ensuring websites perform beautifully on ANY device while ranking aggressively
Proactively identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and improve systems continuously
Must reside in North America
