Responsibilities
Provide technical support to firms through remote assistance calls, addressing vendor inquiries and troubleshooting issues efficiently
Be a first responder to critical system incidents or outages and effectively communicate with partners during these issues
Act as a key contributor to the launch of new products and services, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other departments
Serve as part of the on-call rotation to respond to outages or partner issues, ensuring reliable coverage and minimal disruption to operations
Maintain active communication and support with API vendor development teams and retail API users via community forums
Take ownership of the cases you handle, following up with vendors to ensure inquiries are resolved completely
Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure technical and business objectives are met
Advocate for developers by driving feature requests and requirements with Product and Engineering teams
Develop and maintain expertise in NinjaTrader’s product offerings, technical design, and API capabilities
Qualification
Required
Experience in API support or 3+ years of software development
Demonstrated expertise with WebSockets, SQL, JSON or using third-party REST API
Demonstrated experience with technical writing
A passion for excellent documentation, with strong oral and written communication skills
Experience troubleshooting complex problems, working effectively across multiple teams
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 2:00pm – 11:00pm CST (2nd Shift), including flexibility for 1st shift hours during initial 4–6 week training
Preferred
Experience with JIRA ticketing system, GCP logs and BigQuery are a plus
Experience with Java, C++, .NET, and other programming languages are a plus
