Responsibilities

Provides leadership, guidance and direction regarding leave of absence implementation, and administration

Oversees the day to day operations of the leave specialists to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency

Manages complete life cycle of leave process including intake, eligibility, documentation, tracking and return to work coordination

Partners with legal and employee relations teams to mitigate risk and respond to audits and inquiries

Provides empathetic guidance to employees navigating complex leave situations

Delivers leave of absence training and resources to managers, employees and Human Resources Business Partners

Analyzes leave trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Supports integration of leave programs for acquisitions companies

Remains current on federal, state and local legislation relating to leave and implements appropriate updates
