The Design Engineering Intern will assist the Design Engineering team in generating engineering drawings and 3D models, as well as participating in hands-on prototype assembly and other engineering tasks.

Document engineering tasks

Qualification

3D modeling softwareManufacturing processesMS OfficeMinimal supervisionHVAC experienceSheet metal experienceEnglish fluency

Required

Must have the ability to handle 3d modeling software (ex. SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Revit, etc) and to read/generate manufacturing drawings
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes is required
Ability to use computers and MS Office software (Word and Excel)
Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently
Ability to understand instructions and work with minimal supervision
Must be currently enrolled student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Technologist, or working towards a related degree and/or certifications
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred

3-D modeling, HVAC, and sheet metal experiences are preferred, but not required
