Responsibilities
Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities
Conduct outbound sales prospecting, networking, and relationship development with dispensaries, franchise groups, and industry partners
Lead full-cycle sales processes, including discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and close
Partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding transition and merchant activation
Maintain CRM discipline including notes, forecasting, follow-up cadence, and pipeline accuracy
Represent SALT at key cannabis trade shows, conferences, and activation events as needed
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as an Account Executive within cannabis or merchant services
Ability to generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities
Experience conducting outbound sales prospecting, networking, and relationship development with dispensaries, franchise groups, and industry partners
Ability to lead full-cycle sales processes, including discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and close
Ability to partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding transition and merchant activation
Maintain CRM discipline including notes, forecasting, follow-up cadence, and pipeline accuracy
Ability to represent SALT at key cannabis trade shows, conferences, and activation events as needed
Strong communication skills to simplify complex financial solutions
Resourceful, proactive, and motivated by results
Ability to move quickly, adapt, and iterate as the business scales
