Account Manager, Group Purchasing Organizations
InterMetro Industries Corporation is seeking an Account Manager for their Healthcare Sales Department. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales plans focused on key Group Purchasing Organizations to meet corporate objectives and achieve annual sales goals.

Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales goals for each assigned GPO
Develop annual strategic sales plans for each assigned GPO
Lead negotiations for new/renewed agreements with assigned GPOs
Establish sales objectives by creating tactical sales plans and quotas with staff and field sales team in support of national objectives
Conduct regular business reviews with all assigned GPOs
Manage incoming GPO member requests and facilitate introduction to local Metro field sales representative
Responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities within GPOs to enable field sales in driving sales growth for the healthcare division
Develop and maintain multi-level/multi-departmental corporate relationships with assigned GPO accounts, resulting in achieving annual sales and margin goals
Facilitate marketing programs through/with assigned GPOs
Drive periodic sales promotions/incentives with targeted GPO accounts
Advise field sales team relative to local/regional GPOs managed by field sales
Facilitates GPO field sales support and local Metro field sales personnel for large opportunities
Oversee account membership and tier-level price activations
Assist with quoting large jobs and projects when required
Prepare sales/marketing/support materials and trains key account staff and sales personnel
Identify additional GPO accounts to target and penetrate
Foster relationships with GPO's by attending remote, local, and national meetings for each
Provide clear communication to sales and operations staff regarding key GPO account issues, spikes, market trends and competitive activity
Assists in planning, monitoring, and/or managing budget in functional area of department
Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contributes to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remain alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Reports actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
5 + years of relevant experience in sales
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
