New Grad, Entry LevelWestwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join their team beginning in Summer of 2026 in their Plano, TX office. This role will involve supporting construction document production for solar projects and coordinating with various design team disciplines.

Responsibilities
Construction document production support for commercial and utility scale solar projects
Coordinate with design team disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors
Utilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc
Create wiring/cable schedules based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers/engineers
Maintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Ability to produce construction documents for commercial and utility scale solar projects
Experience coordinating with design team disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors
Knowledge of construction document production and quantity takeoffs
Ability to create wiring/cable schedules based on takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers/engineers
Awareness and knowledge of design/CAD standards
