Individual Tax Supervisor
Smoker & Company, LLC is seeking a dependable, driven, detail-oriented Individual Tax Supervisor to lead their individual tax return team in their Lititz, PA office. This role involves overseeing the workflow of the tax team, reviewing tax returns, and participating in the recruitment and training of interns.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily workflow for the individual tax team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
Distribute and rebalance workloads to maximize team productivity
Ensure work lists are current, and projects continually move forward
Review team members' tax returns before submission to the final signer
Ensure all returns meet internal quality standards and compliance requirements
Participate in interviews and attend job fairs to identify potential tax interns
Train tax interns and seasonal team members in both individual and group settings
Review and update training materials annually to maintain clarity, accuracy, and relevance
Monitor team productivity and collaborate with managers to achieve department goals
Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow, training processes, and review procedures
Identify strong-performing interns for potential full-time opportunities and partner with HR to prepare candidate submissions for upper management
Qualification
Required

Proficient with Microsoft Office
Minimum 3 years' experience in public accounting firm required
Minimum 1 year management experience required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
Certified Public Account (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification a plus
