Technical Sales Manager, Biotech - North America

Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with strategic goals
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and collaborations
Provide technical consultation and product positioning support
Capture and relay market intelligence and competitive insights
Manage leads and opportunities via CRM (Dynamics 365)
Align pricing strategies with group guidelines and negotiate effectively
Represent Lallemand at trade shows and industry events
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D
Deliver on sales targets and margin objectives
Prepare annual budgets and analyze sales performance
Support client forecasting and order fulfillment processes
Qualification
Required
Technical/Scientific education with a degree in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related disciplines
Interpersonal/client relationship – communication, listening, and influencing skills
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Comfortable navigating complex technical discussions with clients
Valid passport, up to 40% travel (occasionally international for internal meetings, conferences, and other industry events as required)
Preferred
3+ yrs commercial experience (sales, account management, or similar) ideally in industrial fermentation or other biotechnology fields
