The role involves ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds, requiring proficiency in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities
Clean vacant units, interior spaces, and grounds
Ensures that vacant units are turned over in a timely fashion
Grounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removal
Paint building interiors and associated prep-work
Miscellaneous carpentry repairs
Appliance repairs
Repair or replace plumbing fixtures
Change locks
Maintain supplies and records
Solicit bids for major repairs, purchases, or contracts
Qualification
Required
Must be organized, self-motivated, and have proven proficiency with basic painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work
Must have a valid driver's license and be available for on-call
high school diploma or equivalent
willingness to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)
good work safety habits
good communication skills
ability to interact with a diverse population
Preferred
familiarity with maintenance related software, including Yardi Mobile, a plus
