At least 19 years old and less than 36 years old at time of commissioning. Waivers may be considered on a case-by-case basis for those who will not exceed 42 years old at time of commissioning

Have completed the requirements for, or be in pursuit of, a qualifying engineering or architecture bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories

Have a minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). An education waiver may be considered on a case-by-case basis for GPAs between 2.7 and 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
