Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries in accordance with company policies and GAAP
Perform timely and thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting procedures
Participate in annual physical inventory counts and assist with reconciliation of inventory records
Maintain and analyze standard costs, support cost accounting activities, and provide insights for cost variance analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting Department to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with Accounting Software
Experience with monthly financial closings
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and ERP
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment
SAP and BaaN system experience a plus
Cost Accounting experience preferred
1-3 Years Of Experience Preferred
