Appear in New York courts for cases involving involuntary hospitalization and psychiatric treatment

Meet with clients at psychiatric hospitals, other facilities, or private residences

Advocate informally on behalf of clients and represent them at administrative hearings

Qualification

Required

Admission to the New York State Bar

Two (2) years of service in the Senior Attorney title or equivalent legal experience (for Associate Attorney)

Two (2) years of service in the Attorney title or equivalent legal experience (for Senior Attorney)

Graduation from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar within 18 months of appointment (for Attorney)

A valid driver license and car
