Account Executive, Managed Services

Focus Technology is a growing MSP dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. They are seeking a driven Account Executive to join their sales team, responsible for driving new business growth and managing client relationships in the managed services sector.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for managed IT services within target markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and partnership
Develop customized proposals and presentations that address client needs and showcase the company's value proposition
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective managed services solutions
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in alignment with company standards and profitability goals
Track sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM systems and regularly report progress to management
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Develop a territory plan in collaboration with the VP of Sales for Managed Services
All other duties, as assigned

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive and professional relationships at all levels within organizations
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, detail-oriented, presentation and time management skills
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
Motivated, goal oriented and coachable with a passion for learning
Ability to earn client trust, along with excellent relationship management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Sales, a related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of IT sales or account management experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on managed services
Prior experience working in a professional services or managed services provider environment, with a strong understanding of managed IT services
Proficiency with CRM software

Preferred

Driver's license and access to transportation to travel to current and prospective customer sites
