Senior Electrical Engineer - GE Aerospace Research
GE Aerospace is a leading company in aerospace research and development, and they are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support site operations. The role involves managing electrical design projects, ensuring safety and efficiency, and working collaboratively with various teams.

Responsibilities
Develop electrical design drawings using AutoCad
Generate electrical equipment material lists for procurement
Work with Project Managers, Researchers and other staff disciplines
Provide direction to Electricians, Technicians and other trade labor
Perform field work to validate construction drawings with as-built conditions
Participate in developing on-site facility electrical requirements
Maintain/Update plant electrical single line diagrams
Manage multiple activities simultaneously
Utilize NFPA, New York State Building Code and OSHA regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Fire Alarm Expert - experienced with various versions of Honeywell EBI systems
Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design
US Citizenship is required
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY
Must be 18 years or older
Preferred
10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design
Experience in Facility Engineering
VFD experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong project and team leadership
Experience interacting with a union workforce
