Strategic Account Executive (Texas)

Responsibilities

Building relationships with key decision makers at the district level
Selling Newsela’s suite of products
Employ solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping
Ensure school board preparation and approval
Create and maintain an aggressive pipeline
Build and adjust strategic account plans for key accounts
Move each account through the sales cycle
Pipeline creation
Pipeline management and forecasting
Designing lead generation campaigns
Managing sales through the entire lifecycle
Collaborating closely with other departments
Be well-versed in territory’s funding, state initiatives, demographics, and K-12 education landscape

Required

Proven Account Executive with 2+ years of demonstrated success selling supplemental products to school districts in the K12 market
Willing to build your own book of business and have extensive experience in networking, prospecting, and building a pipeline
Well-versed in MEDDPICC sales methodology
Proven success forecasting business in the EdTech industry
