Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development

Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team

Address technical issues related to performance, scalability, concurrency, and reliability in a large-scale distributed database system

Collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams, and Product Management to deliver a seamless product

Contribute to direct development, code reviews, and design reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization

Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies

Ability to lead teams in delivering high-quality software products at scale
