Responsibilities
Perform eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe corrective lenses
Provide treatment for eye infections, glaucoma, and other visual disorders
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper lens usage
Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and credentials required
Active California license in Optometry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings
Preferred
Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred
Weekday availability (Mon, Wed, Fri preferred)
