Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to distribute analytics content, build and maintain BI visualization deliverables, and ensure the integrity of data for healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities

Distribute analytics content to data consumers
Build and maintain Epic and third-party BI visualization deliverables
Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers
Modify existing reports, as necessary
Create content to display data from Epic Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle and from the KH Data Warehouse
Maintain the analytics catalog and associated meta data
Follow established standards and processes in the development and modification of BI deliverables
Review peer reports for validity
Work with data services team to ensure integrity of data
Serve as point person for production downtimes and on-call rotation for PBI infrastructure

Qualification

Epic CertificationSelf-service BI toolsMicrosoft SQL Server BI toolsData warehouse conceptsHealthcare industry experience

Required

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
Epic Certification or obtained within 6 months
0-2 years of experience in data analysis, report creation and visualization or related field
Experience with self-service BI tools (MS Power BI, PowerPivot, SAP Crystal, Power View, Tableau, etc.)
Knowledge of data warehouse concepts including data modeling, data quality, ETL and data mining
Microsoft SQL Server BI tools: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
Microsoft SQL and Stored Procedures
Prior experience working in healthcare industry with Epic EMR
