Business Development Manager
SFC Energy North America is a leading technology company specializing in advanced fuel cell systems. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships and key accounts in the mobile security, surveillance, telecom, and infrastructure markets.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research across the Eastern Coast to identify key players, trends, and opportunities in the CCTV, Telecom, and Traffic sectors
Analyse market dynamics and competitor activities to inform strategic business development initiatives
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate and expand our presence in the target markets
Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market needs and customer requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers in target industries
Identify customer challenges and present tailored, value-driven solutions based on SFC Energy’s fuel cell technologies
Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of SFC Energy LLC
Develop a deep understanding of DMFC and Hydrogen Fuel Cell technologies to effectively communicate their benefits to potential customers
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, engineering, and customer support
Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting using Salesforce
Provide regular updates on market trends, sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence
Frequent travel within the Central territory to meet clients, attend industry events, and company locations outside the region as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in business development or strategic sales, with a focus on technology solutions in the CCTV, Telecom, or Traffic markets
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
Deep understanding of mobile surveillance technologies, infrastructure deployment, or alternative power systems is a strong asset
Knowledge of fuel cell technologies is an advantage
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
