Fidelity Investments is seeking a Vice President of Advanced Planning to serve as a financial planning and estate planning authority for high net worth clients. This client-facing role involves delivering estate planning guidance and leading comprehensive financial planning engagements, while collaborating with a team to enhance client experiences.

Responsibilities
Serve as a financial planning and estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors
Deliver point-in-time estate planning guidance and education or lead comprehensive financial and estate planning engagements
Support advanced planning client engagements throughout a geographic region
Collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person
Communicate complex subjects clearly and effectively
Coach, develop, and apply junior team members
Work independently and lead an assigned territory to drive High Net Worth client engagements
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor, with a thoughtful approach to delivering successful customer outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with any of the following designations preferred: CPA, JD, M.T., LLM in taxation, CFA or CFP®
13-15+ years overall work experience with 7+ years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning work experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry environment
FINRA Series 7 and 66 obtained within 90-days of employment
Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge (required)
Works independently and able to lead an assigned territory to drive High Net Worth client engagements
Effectively coaches, develops, and applies junior team members
Thrives in a team environment to provide an exceptional client planning experience
Communicates complex subjects clearly and effectively
Emotional intelligence to successfully bond with and communicate with clients and their advisors
Possesses a solution-oriented, client-first work ethic
Works independently, balances tasks, and prioritizes work to maintain efficiency
Maintains a positive, professional demeanor, with a thoughtful approach to delivering successful customer outcomes
Preferred
Retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning preferred
Experienced in working with business owners, start-ups/Pre IPO companies a plus
